MetaMonster
ABOUT US

Building the tools we wished we had

We're an SEO agency owner, a product designer, and a growth marketer who got tired of cobbling together five different tools to do basic optimization work. MetaMonster is the content optimization platform we kept wishing existed, so we built it.

Our Story

I've been writing on the internet and trying to grow traffic through SEO for years. It's the perfect form of marketing. You create valuable content, structure it well, and search engines connect you with the right people.

But I was always juggling other work on a scrappy budget. So the SEO grunt work kept slipping. Important stuff, but tedious stuff. Optimizing page titles. Writing meta descriptions. Adding descriptive alt text. Building internal links.

I'd always wanted a tool that would just handle those things for me. And as generative AI got better, it seemed like that tool was finally possible. So I recruited my longtime co-founder Austin and we got to work.

The early version did what we set out to do. Crawl a site, find broken metadata, fix it with AI. But the SEO landscape kept shifting. We realized the bigger problem wasn't just metadata. The tools SEOs use to evaluate and optimize content haven't caught up. They're still counting keywords and matching word patterns while the industry has moved on to semantic quality, search intent, and AI search readiness.

So we rebuilt MetaMonster as a content optimization platform. Not another keyword density checker. A tool that evaluates content quality the way a skilled SEO would, and helps you improve it across hundreds of pages.

Then Jade showed up

Jade has been doing SEO since 2018. In 2020 she started HelloSEO, a boutique agency serving therapy practices and small businesses. She found MetaMonster in July 2025, and it quickly became the tool her agency couldn't work without.

Jade was not a quiet user. Voice memos at odd hours. Feature requests that were really workflow redesigns. Opinions about what the tool should do that were annoyingly correct most of the time.

What started as power-user feedback turned into trading business strategy over DMs and late-night brainstorming about where SEO tools are headed. We kept landing on the same point: Jade understood the daily grind of running an SEO agency in a way that we, coming from product and growth backgrounds, couldn't fully replicate. She wasn't theorizing about agency pain points. She was hitting them on real client deliverables every week.

We asked her to join as co-founder in May 2026. She didn't hesitate.

Proudly Indie

We've watched too many good products get run into the ground by VC funding or sunset by big tech acquisitions. That's not what we're doing.

We want to build a calm, sustainable business and a product our users actually want to keep paying for. No growth-at-all-costs playbook. No raising a Series A to hire 50 people and lose track of what made the product useful.

If you want a product where you get direct access to the founders, and they actually listen, you're in the right place. Email andrew@metamonster.ai and you'll be talking to a real person who cares about your workflow.

What we believe about SEO right now

The industry is noisy. Every week there's a new "SEO is dead" take or some vendor claiming their tool will save you from the AI apocalypse.

We think the truth is less dramatic and more useful: the fundamentals still work, the landscape is shifting, and the agencies that adapt steadily instead of chasing every new panic are the ones who'll come out ahead.

That's what MetaMonster is for. Traditional SEO fundamentals and emerging AI search requirements, handled from the same platform. No hype. Just practical tools that help you do better work for your clients.
